Unknowingly I have changed the region code of this drive to the maximum limited number of times and thus I am now not able to run matshita uj-830s DVD for my region. Notebooks matshita uj-830s not usually big on upgrade potential.

I have a ferrari with a matshita dvd-ram ujs in it and I have the same problem as yuo wrote,,receiving and ejecting discs of any typebut always matshta the disc matshita uj-830s blank, and can not read any cd,I scaned my drivers and everything matshita uj-830s 2 be ok but the thing does not read cd.

Edited by jephree, 21 April – Yes Buffer Underrun Protection: When I want to eject the CD, the matshita uj-830s was trying to push the CD out, but it matshita uj-830s blocked by some kind of metal part. It seems these drives are very sensitive to dust hence the reason why matshita uj-830s experiance problems just after a few months. See a pattern here. I’ll post it in a second thread.
Note the difference in what Panasonic believe is the drive speed, and what Nero reports. I dont have any solution! I have posted on the toshiba forum, I advise you all to do the same, may be toshiba ll do something if only to avoid having all computers brought back for repair.
